Take that year 5!

These are the events of the night:

First we bought a camera at best buy.  It pretty much rocks my world.  We bought one a couple years ago.  We had a love affair with it.  It got stolen. we were sad :(  Our heats were hurting.  That all stopped last night.  After much research and stressful money planning (not really)  we decided to get the Cannon sd1400is.  Its really cute and black.  I'm into that.  Brett doesn't care at all.  As long as it can take a picture then he's good to go.  I am really happy with it thus far.  I went a little nuts taking pics last night.  But hey who can blame me.  New things are exciting (for instance when I first got my lifeguard whistle I was so excited, I rolled down my window and blew that thing the whole way home).

Next we went to Goodwood bbq.  We kind of love that place.  Why??? Thanks for asking,  I'll tell you. . . The cheesy potato skins.  Yes, they might be a heart attack waiting to happen but at least I'll die happy.  I usually get that for my meal but last night we got it for an appetizer.  Brett got a steak and I got a salad.  I loved it.  The salad really takes the edge off the guilt situation.  Then they brought us a complimentary desert. "Awwww, thanks guys, you really shouldn't have. . . Psych!  yes you should have!"  It was delightful.  There is a pic of us eating it below here.  It was really nice to spend money and not worry about too much about it.  YAY!

And then we went home and played 3D mini golf 2, because we're sooo cool.

Aaaaaaaad theeeeen . . . .. . .   (bwaahahahahahaaaa, wouldn't you like to know)

Bed at 10:45.  What a delightful Evening/night.

I do have a little something something to say about marriage....

When you get married you willingly and ignorantly sign up for the hardest trial of your life.  If you want to tell me other wise, I'm going to have to say you've been stoned your WHOLE marriage, or you are a liar. (or you have kids, I don't actually know how that compares) Thats NOT to say that there aren't the absolutely joyous and rewarding moments you'll ever have.  I think some people go into marriage thinking it is going to resemble having a sleepover with your BFF for life.  I'm here to tell you it's not the case.

I am so grateful to be married to such a wonderful man.  He is so kind, so tender, so loving and beyond forgiving!  He lets things go with out a second thought.  That is such an example to me.  He is a the best teacher for me.  From good and fun lesson to extremely hard lessons to learn.  Through the thick and the thin, the blood sweat and tears of marriage, I am so glad It's him I get to go through this chaos with.

You are a fantastic little writer! I so enjoyed it. I was laughing and then tearing up. I do like marriage being called a trail because it is a long and interesting one with all kinds of views and bumps and scenery. I love you guys.
